The Hort

The Hort embeds nature into the fabric of everyday city life— in neighborhoods that need it most—by transforming otherwise “unplantable” urban spaces (like sidewalks, medians, traffic triangles, and even streets) into sustainable gardens. We engage residents to notice and connect with their green spaces; when communities enjoy their green spaces, they support and sustain them.
